Boonchan, Sudarat (1998) Biodegradation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons : application of fungal-bacterial co-cultures and surfactants. PhD thesis, Victoria University of Technology.

Abstract

The primary objective of the work in this thesis was to isolate and characterize microorganisms that can grow on high molecular weight PAHs as a sole carbon and energy source, and, in addition, totally degrade these compounds to carbon dioxide and water.
