Clayton, Berwyn, Booth, Robin, House, Robyn and Roy, Sue (2002) Maximising confidence in assessment decision-making: resource kit for assessors. Project Report. National Centre for Vocational Education Research NCVER, Adelaide, South Australia.

Abstract

The project investigated the range of strategies that RTOs currently have in place to maintain quality at various points in the assessment process. It drew on the experience of practising assessors who identified aspects of the assessment process they felt most required quality assurance strategies to increase assessor confidence. The strategies and material presented in this resource are examples of useful models that were identified during the project or developed by the project team from information collected during the research. The resource includes: validation strategies, gathering evidence, assessment partnerships and networks.
