Abstract

In this paper, the problem of robust mixed H2/H∞ control for a class of continuous-time descriptor systems with norm-bounded parameter uncertainties is investigated. Sufficient conditions in terms of linear matrix inequalities are given for the existence of a state-feedback controller that minimizes an upper bound of the H2-norm of the transfer matrix subject to an H∞-norm constraint. A numerical example is given to show the potential of the proposed methods.
