Schroeter, Giilian and McLaren, Mary-Rose ORCID: 0000-0003-3485-9844 (2016) Land and Home. [Performance] (Unpublished)

Additional Information

This performance is part of a bigger project. It grew out of an international project on Home and Land through the International Drama Education Association (IDEA). It was due to be performed at their conference in Turkey in July 2016, but political unrest meant it was impossible to take students there . The two researchers are Australian but the work was originally designed for performance by invitation in Turkey. A NZ performance group, also working toward presentation in Turkey attended one of the performances at La Mama At VU, the ethnodrama was also connected to a project where students painted their stories onto the walls of one of the stairwells. This was about owning space, being connected and inspiring future students
