Abstract

This paper is devoted to robust adaptive sliding mode control for a class of nonlinear systems in the Takagi-Sugeno forms with mismatched parametric uncertainties. Sufficient conditions for the existence of linear sliding surfaces are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities, by which the corresponding adaptive reaching motion controller is also designed. Simulation studies show the effectiveness of the control scheme.
