Abstract

This is a special issue on Victoria's regional resources. Regional and Melbourne metropolitan planning issues are discussed in view that some members of the Town Planning Research Group believe a more fundamental humanist stand should be taken in relation to Melbourne's future, arguing that too big a city is a bad sign.
