Abstract

A reconfigurable architecture consisting of a digital filter and analogue-to-digital converter is proposed for a mobile terminal receiver. The architecture is scaled according to in-band and out-of band powers. Results show that the reconfigurable architecture can save a maximum of 75 to 90% power dissipation compared to fixed architectures.
