Abstract

Corporate governance within the East African Community (EAC) is considered to have significant influence on the economic growth and development of the region. The overarching aim of this study was to examine the influence of corporate governance on the financial performance of listed companies within the EAC, following the operationalisation of hte EAC common market in 2010.
