Abstract

In this paper, we have highlighted some pitfalls in applying Hinfin design to generalize Internal Model Control when the plant involved is unstable. We have found the sources of the difficulties and suggested a procedure to overcome these problems. Our examples demonstrated the effectiveness of this procedure and verified that our conjecture is correct.
