Abstract

Over the past three decades we have witnessed a paradigm shift in relation to the management of disease and illness. Consumers have led one of the greatest revolutions as they take a more active role with their health issues. This study set out to examine why the shift to natural medicine has occurred during that time. The focus of this study is to give a voice to a small group of professionals who have contributed to the development of the natural therapies‘ profession in Australia.
