Abstract

Ruth Crow at the "Conference for a nuclear-free Victoria", June 1979 presents some ideas for socially appropriate community services providing meaningful work for those employed in them. Desribes the link between the squandering of the earth's resources and the effects of technology on employment. In presenting these ideas she draws from her experience of involvement in different types of innovative community-based services during the forty years.
