Abstract
There has been a recent call in the Australian marketplace for information systems (IS) professionals to possess skills that can handle the move into E-business and E-Commerce. A recent report (Deloitte et al, 1999) bemoaned a lack of business skills in IS professionals and highlighted the proposed IS skill shortage in Australia 2000-2004.
