Abstract
This study explores the impact of Supply Chain Reengineering (SCR) on financial performance in Australia’s Food and Beverage industry. Nine in-depth interviews with middle and senior managers were conducted using purposive and snowball sampling. Thematic analysis with NVivo revealed an industry-specific strategy - Food Safety and Quality Maintenance - integrating SCR into food preservation and processing. Findings show SCR generally enhances financial performance, especially in the long term. Theoretically, the study enriches SCR literature by clarifying its financial implications. Practically, it offers guidance and best practices for Food and Beverage firms seeking to implement SCR for improved financial sustainability.
