Abstract

in June 2011, the British Virgin Islands' financial services regulator, the BVI Financial Services Commission, released a consultation draft of a proposed BVI Business Companies (Amandment) Bill 2011 and BVI Business Companies Regulations 2011 for comment. This article explores some of the key features of this new reform package in the context of the BVI's place in the offshore world.
