Abstract

This paper presents completely a new idea for the flow separation control of the airfoil. The idea is to regenerate the boundary layer on the upper surface of the airfoil at that point where the fluid flow begins to separate; the boundary layer has been regenerated by natural air-jet using a small size air intake on the surface of the airfoil. Paper first presented at International Conference on Mechanical, Industrial and Energy Engineering 23-24 December, 2010, Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Khulna, Bangladesh
