Abstract
Exercise has been used as an intervention for respiratory disease for several decades. Chapter 4 covers the evidence supporting exercise as respiratoruy therapy and describes the breadth of conditions for which this approach may be useful. The case studies in this chapter have been selected not simply as illustrations, but to further comprehension of the widespread usefulness of exercise in clients with pulmonary diseases.
