Abstract

Metafrontier models were employed on a sample of health care foodservice operations using SFA and DEA approaches. Results showed that the efficiency rankings of health care foodservice operations remain the same for both approaches. Similarly, the rankings of technology gap ratios with respect the SFA and DEA metafrontier models were also consistent.
