Moving Pictures: dance screen making as choreographic process is a practice led
enquiry made up of two parts: a work for screen entitled Under the Weather, and an
exegesis.
The purpose of the research is to identify key meeting points between the disciplines of
dance and film in the creation of a dance screen work, and to illuminate the possibilities
for further development of the form.
