The article describes the SPACE: Queer Allies Network at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in Melbourne, Victoria. It tackles how the network was established in the university, the trainings and programs and student involvement. Planning for the network reportedly started in 2006 with membership being open to all people, regardless of sexual and gender identities, who are supportive of issues concerning GLBT people, in particular, the violence inflicted on them in the campus.
