Digital business technologies have embraced and transformed the hospitality industry. These changes have produced new opportunities for small businesses in the sector. Previous studies show that large chain affiliated hotels have adopted new technologies, such as: mobile reservation apps, cloud computing, self-service technologies(SSTs) andradio frequency identification (RFID). Areviewofthe literature revealed that little attention has been given to research into technology adopted by SMHs.Hence,to fillthe gap inthe literature,this paper proposes a conceptualframework foridentifying the currentstateofDBTadopted bySMHsandtheenablingfactors thatinfluencedtheadoptionofDBTby SMHs.Wediscussthe potential for the conceptual model to guide future research in the hospitality industry
