Research Contribution
This artwork considered walking as a creative act and an allowable public performance in everyday life. Informed by ‘The Practice of Everyday Life’ (de Certeau), the creative research found that it is the act of walking that connect the mind with the body with the place. The outcome was webpage with original video performance, prose, drawings, photos and music playlist – all around the act of walking and musings on the local area.

Research Significance
This project was created during a 1 month online artist residency with the funding support of the Clocktower Centre and Moonee Valley City Council. The video piece was a finalist in the Footscray Art Prize 2021.
