This article examines the regulation of small corporations
in Australia. Regulation has at its core a relationship to
manage between the regulator on the one hand and the
small single firm, as a regulated entity, on the other. The
article sketches some new possibilities for small firms to
work more collaboratively via networks so as to reduce their
individual regulatory burden. A possibility for promoting
such regulatory networks may lie with peak bodies, such as
the Council of Small Business of Australia (COSBOA).
