Abstract

This paper highlights some proven intervention strategies and their potential for replication, and stresses the need for educators to learn from those approaches that enjoy perhaps only temporary success. By taking account of initiatives deemed to be more and less successful, this paper suggests, educators may benefit from those practices and elements that demonstrate achievement, whilst avoiding and learning from those approaches and components that are seemingly less useful.
