Abstract
“Executive summary” is frequently used in English documents of an official nature, but its Chinese translation has been highly varied, which indicates the need for standardization. This paper aims to help achieve this by way of data collection, analysis and comparison. Based on the findings and with further research and deliberation, a new term is suggested as its standard translation.
