Abstract
We treat a class of functionals which satisfy the Cauchy–Schwarz inequality. This appears to be a natural unifying concept and subsumes inter alia isotonic linear functionals and sublinear positive isotonic functionals. Striking superadditivity and monotonicity properties are derived.
