Abstract
Several reverses for the Cauchy-Bunyakovsky-Schwarz (CBS) inequality for sequences of vectors in Hilbert spaces are obtained. Applications for bounding the distance to a finite-dimensional subspace, in reversing the generalised triangle inequality and for Fourier coefficients are also given.
