Abstract
Increasing multiculturalism within Australia and the provision of higher education to international students have been changing the composition of Australian classrooms over the past decades. While culturally diverse classes offer new opportunities for teaching and learning, developing life-long learning skills requires information on students’ experiences, expectations, and plans for the future. Information is in fact essential to construct appropriate incentives to achieve set educational objectives and to make learning memorable.
