Abstract

This study is concerned with identifying stake holders that community based organisations (CBO) in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK turn to when considering, developing, maintaining, and updating their websites. Several stakeholders are id entified based on the strength of their ties with the CBO. A key finding is that stakeholders with weak ties are increasingly involved, from deciding who will host the website through to the stage of website redesign. Findings of the study have implications for setting policy on community based organisations.
