Abstract
Sharp Grüss-type inequalities for functions whose derivatives are of bounded variation (Lipschitzian or monotonic) are given. Applications in relation with the well-known Cˇ ebyšev, Grüss, Ostrowski and Lupa¸s inequalities are provided as well.
