Abstract
In Queensland, popular movements for planning had arisen in the 1910s - noble enterprises, driven by hopes for fairness and equality. Bereft of common purpose and popular interest by 1962, the most influential of these organisations, the Queensland Town Planning Association (QTPA), collapsed.
