Abstract

The measures used to assess the value of business events currently focus almost exclusively on tourism. As a consequence of this, opport- unities to recognise and derive maximum benefit for Australia from these events are likely to be missed. This paper examines the broader value and seeks to identify opportunities to leverage this value.
