Context Aware Adaptive Services Framework
Dai, Wei and Liu, Jonathon j (2010) Context Aware Adaptive Services Framework. In: 2010 7th International Conference on Services Systems and Services Management : proceedings of ICSSSM '10, June 28-30, 2010, Tokyo, Japan. Chen, Jian, ed. IEEE, Piscataway, N.J..
Abstract
The paper presents an adaptive and responsive service framework that integrates context aware techniques with an open source service oriented platform OSGi. The adoption of context aware techniques will allow the proposed service framework to dynamically and effectively manage services resources in response to in-bound tasks identified by the framework. The core services (i.e system services) of the framework maintain the basic functions and operations of the framework. These services are designed and implemented as plug-ins taking advantages of SOA support in general and OSGi services support in particular. It is through the collaborations of systems services with the services external to the framework, business specific solutions are delivered.
