Cara, Coral (2011) Follow the Leader, but Who is Leading Who?: The Novice as the Facilitator in Work Integrated Learning. The International Journal of Knowledge, Culture and Change Management, 10 (10). pp. 55-68. ISSN 1447-9524
Abstract
Traditionally learning in the work place is led by the more experienced practitioner. In this innovative model of practice it is the novice who is leading practice in the workplace. This work integrated learning (WiL) model of practice allows the novice to disseminate latest practice to the experienced practitioners in their workplaces. The novice thereby not only improves their own learning and practices but also enhances current practice in the real workplace.
