Abstract

This paper explores the tensions and dislocations linked to my doctoral fieldwork in El Salvador. I reflect upon my experiences as an emerging community psychologist, engaging with feminist theory to frame my praxis and draw out new directions for social justice research based in ethics, witnessing and inclusive knowledge practices
