Marsh, Jillian ORCID: 0000-0001-6601-2870 (2015) A master plan for Indigenous freedom. Beyond Trafficking and Slavery.
Abstract
Andrew Forrest, the founder of the Walk Free Foundation, has written a master plan for Indigenous freedom. But who is the master and what is freedom? This article examines the Forrest Review which philosophically blends 1961 assimilation policy ideas with 21st century neo-liberalism focusing on the individual and the family as if policy can be removed from the community and society and operating on the basis of economic rationalism alone.
