Abstract

The Blackboard Learning System is a web-based course management system used across campuses at Victoria University for the online delivery of a second year course, Software Development. Students use a well-defined case study in this course, to enhance their learning. E-learning material, Blackboard tools and activities are used to provide a student-centred approach to learning. In conclusion, the future application of this flexible learning mode for local and offshore delivery by Victoria University staff is discussed.
