Abstract
This chapter provides an overview of the many issues that surround teacher training for childhood obesity and eating disorder prevention, including issues of professional knowledge, personal attitudes and behaviours, and bias against overweight. A discussion of how best to train both pre-service and practicing teachers to combine efforts for the prevention of eating disorders and obesity in schools follows
