Abstract
A video performance piece documenting and representing daily walks allowable during Victoria’s Covid-19 ‘stay at home’ orders. During the 210-day lockdowns, I tallied over 800km of walking my local streets. The performance of walking (walking art) may seem ordinary, but it was this action which represented the banality, rhythm and routine of lockdown life in 2020.
